Hey everyone come check out our revamped patio space. Our patio area has had a minor face lift and would love to be utilized more by guests. It is cozy and you can check out the pallet garden we have started. We have also added some décor and opened the area up a little more with added seating. This patio...

Hello you might be seeing a new face around the café from time to time. I am Evan Gromlich a senior from Kutztown University and the intern for the café. I came in a few months ago as a normal customer and was head over heels about Wild Sage because I plan to open a place of my own someday and this café captured my exact image of what I want in my future. So I am interning shadowing Jess to see what all goes into running a small business as well as helping...

Wild Sage now has some new paintings to show off the talent of local artist Amber Foote

Q&A with artist Amber Foote

If you’ve been into Wild Sage lately, you may have noticed some extra eyes staring at you (or perhaps ignoring you). Amber Foote’s enticing collection of bird paintings gives a whole new meaning to the expression “bird’s-eye view,” and we wanted to learn more! We loved hearing her unique perspective of Berks County, and the people who live her...

April showers, and intermittent Berks county snow storms, taxes, and Spring cleaning bring….the need for a healthy work life balance, which seems to be as elusive as the consistent Spring temperatures we’re longing for.

For most of us (of a certain age) growing up here in Berks county, Turmeric was only known (if it was known) as what turned our processed mustard yellow. Yet, on the other side of the world,  an ancient Indian medicine practice (still popular today), called Ayurveda, has long made use of turmeric to improve immune health, help relieve pain, aid in digestion, as well as protect against the biggies like diabetes, Alzheimer’s, and yes, even cancer.

As with al...
